Hello,

My name is Colette Kimon, and I am a self-taught jewelry artist. My involvement in wire wrapped jewelry did not happen by accident. I have always been involved in some type of craft activities. I did crochet for many years and really enjoyed it. I also got interested in sewing and cross- stitching. A few years ago, I watched a lady create an intricate bracelet with wire and beads, and became very interested in learning that technique. At first all I wanted to do was to create some earrings for myself because I could never find many earrings that I really like. Needless to say I did not stop at just making earrings.

I became very interested in creating jewelry that incorporate sterling silver with semi precious gemstones and began learning as much as I could through local classes, books, magazines and DVDs. My main focus is to create that is unique, original, fun, easy to wear but strong and beautiful. I hope you enjoy the few pieces on my web site.
